Shanna joined the Lubbock County Private Defenders Office January 2021 as a Forensic Mental Health Case Worker.  She attended Texas Tech University earning a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies.  She has worked in the mental health field for over ten years as an Intensive Case Manager and Child Development Specialist. Shanna believes that her purpose is to provide emotional support and guidance, navigating the wellness of individuals, through intervention and education.

Shanna is from Wolfforth, Texas.  She is an avid sports fan, enjoying Texas Tech sporting events and building relationships with local organizations in Lubbock and surrounding counties.  She enjoys the connections she makes with each of the people she helps and finds her work extremely fulfilling.
