Adeniyi "Johnson" Omojola

Mental Health Caseworker

Johnson became a full-time caseworker in January 2024, after completing a semester internship the prior year. A Texas resident since 2018, Johnson is originally from Nigeria but has come to love the Lubbock community as his own. Prior to coming to Texas, Johnson served as a missionary with Mercy Ships—a humanitarian hospital ship working off the coast of Africa. As a part of that ministry, Johnson worked with prisoners and realized his purpose: to positively impact the lives of people who are incarcerated. His servant heart is called to love people in their darkest moments. At LPDO he serves his clients by supporting their health and human service needs within the justice system.

Johnson graduated from South Plains College and Texas Tech University with honors in social work. However, his proudest titles are not that of social worker, student, or missionary, but of father and husband.
