Calvin has worked at Lubbock Private Defenders Office as a Forensic Mental Health Caseworker for over five years. He studied Human Services at Wayland Baptist University and has training in Crisis Intervention; he is also certified in Mental Health First Aid USA.

He volunteers at his church and in the community often, as he is passionate about helping others in need.
