Tina was born in a small country called Dominica but grew up in West Texas. She attended Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK, receiving her Bachelors of Science degree with a major in Psychology. She has worked in the mental health field for over six years and has been with the Lubbock Private Defenders Office as a Forensic Mental Health Case Worker since 2017.
Tina completed forensic mental health training at North Texas State Hospital Conference in Vernon, We the Defenders Social worker/Sentencing advocate conference and represented the Private Defenders Office at the Career service panel at the Texas Tech school of Law. She is active in her community attending events such as First Friday Art trail, working with the Miss Lubbock Pageant, and getting lost in the adventures of a good book. Tina seeks to continue helping clients with all disabilities and looks forward to growing professionally while at the Private Defenders Office.
